TERRA showcases e-Poster at GEO Global Forum 2025 via EuroGEO

TERRA is proud to announce the publication and dissemination of its latest e-poster at the GEO Global Forum 2025, through the EuroGEO platform. The e-poster was featured in the EU Booth, contributing to Europe’s collective voice within the global Earth observation community.

Held under the theme “The Earth Talks”, the GEO Global Forum 2025 is the reimagined successor to GEO Week. The event brought together global leaders, policymakers, researchers, industry stakeholders, and media to explore how Earth intelligence can inform and empower action in key areas such as food security, ecosystem restoration, disaster prevention, and climate response.

This year’s forum was especially significant as it marked three major milestones:

    • Launch of the GEO Global Forum – a new platform to advance Earth intelligence for all.
    • 20th Anniversary of GEO – celebrating two decades of global collaboration and innovation.
    • Adoption of the GEO Post-2025 Strategy Implementation Plan – setting the course for the future.

Our e-poster, prepared in collaboration with the University of Thessaly (UTH), aligns with EuroGEO’s mission to bridge European Earth observation (EO) assets with user needs, stimulate innovation, and promote the uptake of EO-based services across policy, science, and industry sectors. EuroGEO plays a critical role in connecting research communities, supporting digital ecosystems, and enhancing EO accessibility and impact across Europe and beyond.
