Promoting TERRA’s Climate Intelligence Solutions at ISCRAM 2026

The TERRA project was proudly represented at the ISCRAM 2026 Conference (Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management), held from 31 May to 3 June 2026 in Delft, The Netherlands. Bringing together more than 250 participants from academia, industry, policy-making bodies, public authorities, and the media, the conference provided an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing innovative approaches to crisis management and resilience.
Representing TERRA, VisionTech Group (VTG) actively promoted the project and engaged with members of the international crisis management community. Throughout the event, TERRA dissemination materials, including project brochures and informational resources, were shared with conference participants, helping to increase awareness of the project’s objectives, ongoing activities, and expected impact.
The conference theme, “Building Stronger Futures: Ensuring Public Safety in Times of Crisis,” closely aligns with TERRA’s mission to develop intelligent climate services that support environmental monitoring, forecasting, and decision-making. As climate-related challenges continue to intensify worldwide, the need for advanced tools capable of predicting and mitigating environmental risks has become increasingly important.
During discussions with researchers and practitioners, particular interest was shown in TERRA’s work on modelling the impacts of climate change on coastal regions and water pollution. By leveraging Earth Observation data, artificial intelligence, and advanced forecasting methodologies, TERRA aims to transform complex environmental information into actionable insights that can support authorities, stakeholders, and communities in anticipating and responding to emerging environmental threats.
The event also offered valuable opportunities to gather feedback from experts working at the forefront of crisis response and disaster risk reduction. These exchanges contribute to strengthening the project’s scientific foundation and ensuring that TERRA’s solutions address real-world challenges faced by vulnerable regions and communities.
Participation in ISCRAM 2026 further reinforced TERRA’s commitment to fostering collaboration across disciplines and sectors while expanding the project’s visibility among key stakeholders involved in climate resilience, environmental protection, and crisis management.
