Addressing Wildfire Risks: TERRA at the 1st Wildfire Ignition Conference
Date & Place: 18 – 22 November 2025 | In-person
TERRA was promoted at the 1st Wildfire Ignition Causes International Conference, gathering more than 150 participants from the scientific community, research organisations, industry, policymakers, and media.
The project was represented by partner Venaka TReLeaf GbR (VTG), who participated as attendee and disseminator. TERRA’s Earth Observation-based solutions were presented and discussed, with particular relevance to environmental risk monitoring and wildfire-related hazards.
Project materials, including newsletters, were distributed to participants, supporting targeted outreach to stakeholders working in wildfire prevention and risk management.
Participation contributed to increasing awareness of TERRA within the wildfire management community and supported engagement with specialised stakeholders. It also enabled networking with researchers and policymakers working on environmental risks, opening opportunities for future collaboration.
