TERRA Survey on Climate Services: Call for Business and Technical Experts
As part of its ongoing research and user-centred design activities, TERRA has launched an online survey to gather insights from business and technical experts working with climate services and satellite-based data.
The questionnaire aims to capture perceptions, awareness, and requirements related to climate services that utilise Earth Observation and Copernicus data, supporting the project’s work on coastal monitoring, erosion prediction, flood risk management, water pollution assessment, and coastline modelling applications.
Why participate?
The survey results will directly contribute to TERRA’s requirement analysis and reference architecture, helping ensure that the project’s services respond to real operational, technical, and market needs. Collected inputs will be analysed in aggregated form and published in a public project deliverable.
Who should take part?
The survey is addressed to:
- Business experts (e.g. service providers, decision-makers, SMEs, public authorities)
- Technical and technology experts (e.g. researchers, engineers, data scientists)
- Participants can answer questions related to:
- Organisational and business models
- Use of technologies such as AI, data analytics, IoT, and cloud systems
- Desired features and functionalities of environmental monitoring tools
- Application-specific challenges, including coastal and maritime environments
- Practical information
Estimated completion time: approximately 8 minutes
Anonymity: the survey is fully anonymous; no personal data are collected
Use of results: analysis and publication in aggregated form only
